Is MT25QL256ABA8E12-1SIT TR Compatible with a Cyclone V SE FPGA/SoC?

Hi,

This part is not listed on this Altera web page:

Supported Flash Devices for Cyclone® V SoC and Arria® V SoC | Altera

We have been using Micron part number N25Q256A83E1240F TR but I believe these are obsolete.

Can anyone shed light on whether the part number in the subject line will function correctly with the Cyclone V SE?

    Hi 

     

    For the flash selection we usually take into account the Address Mode (3 byte & 4 Bytes)  and the Maximum Operating Frequency (CycloneV AS configuration of 100Mhz) support of the Flash.

     

    After going through the flash data sheet it seems like it should work.

    Are you facing any error during the configuration from the flash device?

      We are still at the layout stage so we have not tried the flash in operation yet.
