Honored ContributorI'm designing a pcb with an EP4CGX110 in it.I'am not going to use the transceiver part, so can i just leave the VCCL_GXB VCCH_GXB VCCA_GXB and the differential IO not connected?
And is there any demo board design released by altera for CYCLONE IV? Thank you.
Honored ContributorI guess, it's exactly specified in the datasheet.
Previous GXB devices (e.g. Arria) has these requirements: - Power all supply voltages - Connect all unused differential inputs to a (common) pair of weak pull-up/pull-down resistors It's most likely correct for Cyclone IV, too.Honored Contributordefinitely check out the Schematic Review Worksheets and the Pin Connection Guidelines they are derived from:
