Help me to set-up my new lab

Hai...

i am is a instructor and teach Computer Architecture & Organization. this course is new in my institution. So i really need help to set-up my Computer Architecture & Organization laboratory.

From my reading and reference... i want to use Altera education board. but i don have any idea where i want to start.

What the best software PLD can use for student and the lab must can do experiment digital logic, embeded program and computer organization.

please really need any body help.!!!
