http://www.altera.com/education/univ/materials/boards/unv-dev-edu-boards.html are developed by Terasic http://www.terasic.com.tw/en/ The DE2 boards are very good. The DE0-nano boards are very cheap. Talk to the people at Terasic. They will help you to determine which boards are appropriate for your class. Cheers, Dave
