Help about mySupport webpage to create Service Request!

Hello,

I'm new to Altera Fpga. And I'd like to get Altera support via mySupport. However, the "Create Service Request" button is always grey and told me following text:

you are currently not eligible to file service requests. please use the advanced search or altera forum to find the answer to your issue. if there is an error in your eligibility, verify your contact details.

I checked my contact details already, but it didn't work. What should I do now?

    Are you a business customer, you can contact your Altera FAE and have them push the issue through their channels.

    No... I'm from university. So the mySupoort only works for company customers?

    You Need a Business E-Mail address at least, i.e. @gmx etc. are indicating to them you are a private Person. Thus in case you have not entered a Company organization etc. you cannot file Service requests.

    Nevertheless ALTERA always supported Universities, thus try contacting a FAE and - if you like - ask him for supporting you with getting mySupport access.
