Graphic Editor

Hi,

I have UP2 Board.

I have installed MAX+PLUS II Baseline software Student edition.

I got licence.net file from Altera support. I put this licence.net file in the root directory of MAX+PLUS II software.

I opened MAX+PLUS II software, I choose File-->New, pop up window appear, I select Graphic Editor, then OK. I got th emessage:

"Current license file support does not include the 'Graphic Editor' application or feature."

Do you know why is this error apeared and where licence.dat file needs to be put, in which directory.

I would apprecite your promt reply.

    I think the big problem is you are using Max+PLUS II, which is about 7/8 years old now. Try moving to quartus instead (that you can download for free with a web licence).

    I will start using the newest board soon...

    Do you know if I can use existing board UP2 with the newest free downloadable software (what you are refering). Or I will also need a new board??
