Hello,
What is the part number of your external oscillator? you can check from that particular external oscillator's datasheet about the supported input frequency.

Hi,
In that link, PLL Input clock frequency mentioned as 5MHz to 472.5MHz. So we need to select the external crystal oscillator to be selected in that range, since we cannot drive PLL with internal oscillator. Whether my understanding is correct or not?
I have attached the snapshot from MAX10 handbook for reference.

Hi,
One more clarification, If we are not use PLL in our application, Can we use 4MHz external crystal? Whether 10M08DCU324I7G will support for 4MHz?
