Do you think, that "Absolute Maximum Ratings" is the right category to answer your question? "Recommended Operating Conditions" syas up to 3.6V. Obviously, MAX II is not a 5.0V tolerant device.

Epm240t100 Cpld has 2 banks. Each I/O bank has 3 Vccio pins. Is it mandatory to connect all 3Vccio pins of bank to say 3.3V power. Is connecting any 1 of the pin sufficient.

I have connected 16MHz clock to GCLK0 and left other GCLKs 1-3 unconnected. Can I connect them to ground. GCLK0 is programmed as Input. How can i choose this pin to work as Clock or as I/O.
