Eight channel data Transmission

Hi,

I am doing a project in which I have to transmit eight channel data either through one or two channels. Each channel data rate is 320MHz and frame rate is 40MHz but data is DDR. I have only four pins available for transmitting data.I tried to use ALTLVDS but it only supports upto 1.25Gbps data rate. Plz, tell me how to do this. I am using a custom board which is having Altera Stratix VI device (EP4SGX70HFC2).

    The Stratix 4 GX has serdies transcievers capable of 8.5 Gbps, Do you have any of these IO's available to play with?

    Hi,

    Thanks lots for reply.Yeah I tried with GX but the problem is that output pin assignment requires IO voltage standard PCML which is not available for the available pins on the customized board.
