differential signal in cyclone 3

hi

i generated 200kHz single ended clock from 2MHz i/p , but i want to take differential output from cyclone 3. is there any option in quartus for that?

    Select a differential pin pair and assign a differential I/O standard to the positive pin in the Pin Planner or Assignment Editor. The negative pin is assigned by Quartus automaticly.

    Of course not, you can use a differential standard for a DC signals as well.

    There is no problem, and everything should work, but usually one uses differential signals for high speed signals.

    unless you are working in a very noisy environment you won't really benefit from it, and just use up an extra line.
