    Hi Divjot,


    Yes, it is correct as explained by sstrell. In addition, low cost FPGA systems have different needs, depending on the application. However, two common themes are the need for high functionality, coupled with the lowest possible power. In some applications, like portable handheld equipment, battery life drives power concerns. In others, like wireless communications, thermal budgets, constrained by high reliability fan-free operation require low power.


    To address these needs, Intel developed Cyclone V FPGAs.
