CPLD Programming

I am using Altera Max II CPLD, Programming it in SVF style. Further the CPLD is getting detected but while programming it stops in middle saying (Err0r at some line in .svf file).

Can anyone give me some light on this, Why this issue comes?

    I guess, there is a svf file error. Or the programmer tool doesn't understand the particular svf syntax. How did you generate the svf file? Does ist check O.K. with other tools?

    Same SVF file has been loaded successfully previously. SVf file is autogenerated from EDA tools. All I want to know is there any current limit to be maintained for the CPLD while programming?

    I have even tried programming using .pof file.
