Arria II rx_signaldetect

Question

Hello,

I am using the Arria II demo board (125 version) and have ALTGX configured in basic mode. I turned on 8B/10B to enable the rx_signaldetect output. The rx_signaldetect is stuck high all the time no matter what I do. I followed the couple of reset sequences suggested on the Altera site and looked at the recommendations on the Stratix IV manual with no success.

I have tried with a signal present, without a signal preset, with the loop back board on the HSMC connector, with our own HSMC board, again with no success.

I tried with manual LTR/LTD and automatic mode.

Did anyone run into this or similar issue?

Dino,  Thank you for the reply!  It would be nice if the links to the updates worked! :)  I have to move on to a different project.  When/if I come back to this, I will deal with it then.

I checked the link again today and there was an update to the solution related to a bug in 11.0.  I applied the suggestion and now it works.
