So it is not possible to run the hello world example on the PAC without a paid license? Without the Quartus Standard /Pro Software?
You do not provide a free trial developers license to confirm things are working at all?
Which OS will support installing the PAC acceleration stack [ dev] installation script in a way it will be possible to run the diagnostic/ hello world example to confirm the PAC card works at all?

Super ContributorBased on my understanding, Alternative you could apply an Intel 90-Day Evaluation License use with Quartus Pro/Standard. Login to Intel® FPGA Self Service Licensing Center and request the Quartus evaluation free license here https://licensing.intel.com/
1) Go to Sign up for Evaluation or Free licenses
2) Select Intel® FPGA EVALUATION-LIC
3) # of Seats is always 1
4) Check the T&C box
5) Add the required options
6) Click Get License button
The license will be sent to email that you register with
