AGILEX 5 Migration issue

Based upon Agilex device overview the A5E 008B, A5E 013B & A5E 028B are meant to be compatible and "migratable" as shown here  However when I tried to choose A5EC008BM16AI4S as my current device...

Hello Eza,

 

After further checking, this is an expected behavior in the Quartus Migration Window. The migration between A5EC008BM16A and A5EC028BM16A falls under conditional migration scenario, where this migration involves different transceiver bank counts as below screenshot:

 

 

Hence, it has impact on board design requirement. That is the reason it is falls under conditional migration. Pin Migration Window in Quartus only will list the devices that falls under vertical migration.
