Hi @GabrielC ,
I understand how your feeling, but I am trying my best to assist you in either way.
Please accept sincere apologies if there is any inconvenience cause to you.
no support in the future for SSGDMA (not "future", even current version 25.1.1 has no support; curiously, the IP got some technical tweaks together with the deprecation note )
>> This information is available under the user guide 1. Product Discontinuance Notification
>> Passing the message with reason to ensure that you choosing the the best implementation for your future project
no support for MCDMA for smaller devices (resource tweaks not possible
>> You can try to select a lower number of DMA channels
>> lower the data width for example 32 , 64 bit
>> control the amount of data transferred per dma burst
>> configure the "max burst size" to match your system's output correctly
>> those can be configure via the IP catalog.
mSGDMA has no PCIE TLP support, not relevant (as the deprecation notes, it's only for SOC/MM)
>> I will pass this escalation back to our internal team.
What option do I have (or what do you recommend) with PCIE TLP support and smaller devices?? Why are these devices available with PCIE but no IP support?
>> If you really have a strict price concern, or device/ip selection issue, I would strongly suggest you to reach you to any of your local Distributor Field Application Engineer (DFAE). I believe they can help to address your concern.
Again, please accept my sincerely apologies for any inconvenience causing to you (if have).
I will raise up your concern to our development team, as user feedback always a top priority that we would take it seriously.
Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you more.
Regards,
