About CycloneV and Texas instruments ADC

Hello to all!

I would like to connect the outputs (parallel) of a adc TI ADS5500 model, to an fpga cyclonev.

The ADS5550 output is a cmos compatible.

I should make a custom mezzanine card with HSMC connector.

The question is:

In the PCB i must use 50 ohm traces to connect adc outputs to fpga inputs?

I need 50 ohms terminations to the end of lines (near the fpga?)

    No, you don't need to route using 50 Ohm traces. However, do your best to length match the clock and data traces.

    As you mention, the ADC output signals are CMOS compatible, 3.3V logic. Simply connect them to a suitably powered bank of your Cyclone V - 3.3V/3.0V/2.5V to accept 3.3V logic. Any logic signals driven to the ADC (OE or the serial interface if used) will need to come from a 3.3V powered bank.
