warnings on fitter for design

Hi Team,

I have compiled the design with ddr3,nios ii processor, avalon mm and other ip interfaces. I have used the ddr3 memory with 400 mhz and other interface uses afi_half_clk like that I have connected in qsys system. for fitter i have warnings. Can you please give solution for these warnings.

Warning (15400): WYSIWYG primitive "Mux24:inst|Mux24_cpu:cpu|Mux24_cpu_cpu:cpu|Mux24_cpu_cpu_nios2_oci:the_Mux24_cpu_cpu_nios2_oci|Mux24_cpu_cpu_nios2_ocimem:the_Mux24_cpu_cpu_nios2_ocimem|Mux24_cpu_cpu_ociram_sp_ram_module:Mux24_cpu_cpu_ociram_sp_ram|altsyncram:the_altsyncram|altsyncram_qid1:auto_generated|ram_block1a11" has a port clk0 that is stuck at GND

similar warnings are listed more in warnings tab.

    Hello SERMASWATHIKA,


    By observing the warning messages, it's look like the clock signals are not assigned to any pins.

    Can you check if all signals in the design have been assigned to pin location?

      Hi,

      i have checked the pin assignment file. Clocks are assigned properly. i have added the snippet for clock assignment, please check and give your review

    Hi SERMASWATHIKA,


    I'm sorry for the delay to respond in this forum.


    From my observation, the warning messages are telling about the clock port is not used so it's connected to GND.

    If you already assigning all pins, then it's should be okay.

    Unless there are some floating pins in your design, the Quartus will identify it as unused pin then connected to GND.


    There should be some IPs in your design, can you identify which IP that causing this warning by removing the IP?

    This should be able to isolate this issue.
