Requesting FPGA-Based Replacement for Discontinued 72V251 (8K x 9 Synchronous FIFO)

Hello,

I am currently working on a design that originally used the IDT 72V251, which is an 8K x 9 synchronous FIFO. Since this device has been discontinued, I am exploring alternatives, preferably using FPGA-based implementation.

My requirements are as follows:

  1. FIFO size: 8192 x 9 bits, synchronous operation

  2. Operating voltage: 3.3V

  3. I/O signaling standard: CMOS / LVCMOS 3.3V, compatible with the original 72V251

  4. Preferably a solution with a readily available FIFO IP core that can be quickly integrated

  5. If available, I’d also appreciate any reference designs or evaluation kits that can help speed up development

Could you kindly recommend a suitable FPGA device and IP solution that meets these requirements?

Thank you for your support!

Best regards,
