Help!Stratix II EP2S60 DSP Development Board

Following the manual, I have downloaded the .hexout file to the flash on the board with the flash programmer of NIOS II, but when I shut down the board and turn on it again, the .hexout file downloaded in the flash doesn't work, the 'error' and 'factory' LED turns on. Is there any additional steps I have not taken? Or, is there any problem with the flash address? The address of flash starts at 0x00000000. And the .hexout file is created from .sof file in Quartus 6.0.Thank you!

    We also have the Stratix II EP2S60 DSP Development Board and we are facing the same problem. Any help is wellcome!

    I vaguely recall there are toggle switches on the board that select the configuration source. Did you check they are setup correctly?

    Why do you care about the factory configuration? Its really not that exciting.

    If you need an example design, just ask. I have the kit.
