Error opening AFC: insufficient privileges

1. Which tools you are using? IOFS? oneAPI? OPAE?
2. Are you using intel devcloud to compile the design?
3. Can you share more details on the design or command used to compile the project?
4. Are you running the command with root access?

Hi,

This sounds very similar to the issue I had https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-High-Level-Design/Configuring-for-non-root-user-access-without-quot-Error-opening/m-p/1402918#M2603 - this turned out to be that my user didn't have sufficient permissions to read/write from the raw devices.

So either running the tooling as root worked or (preferably) changing the device permissions might work.
