Why is the GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY IP not getting configured with the provided Presets and showing errors?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3.1, using either of the two presets shown below with the GTS PMA/FEC Direct PHY IP will generate an error message while being used for configuration.

The issue is limited to only these two preset configurations.

Resolution

This problem is planned to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
