Why is the “Using Quartus Generated Example Design” check box in the Ethernet Toolkit disabled even using the E-Tile 100G Ethernet Hard IP example design generated by the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.2 ?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 21.2, you may see the “Using Quartus Generated Example Design” check box in the Ethernet Toolkit is disabled even when using the E-Tile 100G Ethernet Hard IP generated example design. 

Resolution

This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.3.
