Why doesn't the eCPRI Intel® FPGA IP support E-Tile CPRI with webcore version 19.2, when using Intel® Quartus® Prime version 20.3?

Description

Starting in version 20.1 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software, the CPRI PHY IP updated the clocking for TX/RX path. This causes the CPRI Webcore 19.2 to be not compatible with it. This causes timing closure failure and hardware failure when using eCPRI Intel® FPGA IP webcore 19.2 with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 20.3.

Resolution

No workaround for this problem exists in the Intel® Quartus® Prime software versions 20.3 and earlier.

This problem has been fixed starting in version 20.4 of the Intel® Quartus® Prime software.
