Why does Intel Agilex® 7 device EMIF calibration simulation take quite a long time even in “skip calibration” mode?

Description

Due to some limitation in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.1 and earlier, you would find that EMIF calibration time takes quite a long time even in “skip calibration” mode.

Resolution

The simulation time is improved in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.3.
