Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.1 and earlier, you may see this error in the Fitter (Plan) stage when you use the Ubuntu operating system (OS) with non english language settings.

Resolution

To work around this problem, follow these steps:

1. Set your OS language settings to English.
2. Re-run the compilation.

This problem is fixed beginning with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v21.3.
