Error: BSP type "ucosii_hal2" unknown

Description

You might see the following errors while creating a new Nios® V processor Board Support Package (BSP) settings file while using the Nios® V processor BSP Editor Graphical User Interface (GUI) in the Quartus® Prime Software installed on Windows operating system (OS):

• 'BSP type "ucosii_hal2" unknown' 

• 'BSP type "hal2" unknown'

Resolution

To resolve this error, remove the IP_ROOTDIR Windows Environment Variable if it is set on your system.
