Error: avst_credit.src/avst_credit_bfm.snk: avst_credit.src with parameter maxChannel has value 0, while avst_credit_bfm.snk has 1

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2, you may see the above error when creating connections between Avalon® Streaming Credit IPs and Avalon Streaming Credit BFM IPs in Platform Designer.

Resolution

To work around this problem, enable the “Use Channel” option in both IPs. 

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.​
