Help required in undertaking Intel Arria-10 Baremetal Project

Hello,

I have worked a lot using Xilinx FPGAs and now time has come to work with Intel FPGAs but I am not able to find proper resources for building and running an baremetal application.

I have created a created FPGA Project Involving both HPS and FPGA using platform designer, I am able to test the project by simply replacing HPS with NIOS and writing baremetal application using Eclipse for NIOS 2. Now I want to remove NIOS and add HPS and create an baremetal application and create SD Card Image for the same so the FPGA configuration and application will be present within SD card and will be loaded on power on.

I came across DS-5 is the software used to create applications for HPS but I am not able to figure out how to run the applications using it.

Can someone please guide me to right resources or steps for achieving this.

It will be great if someone help me out in figuring out the process comparing with Xilinx FPGAs.

  1. Create Block design using Vivado involving PS and PL

  2. Export XSA

  3. Build Platform project and Application project using Vitis

  4. Build SD Card Image using Vitis

I know steps might not be simple in case of Intel FPGA

  1. I have created platform design and Compiled it

What must be done next

Can someone help directing to some example or reference project which involves all the steps so that I can get a hands on will be able to carry out this project.

Thanks in Advance
