Win7 (x64) cable drivers

Hi there,

I have Altera DE2 board and I have recently installed Win 7 on my laptop.

How to install USB cable drivers for Windows 7 so I could program the FPGA device?

I am currently using Quartus II 8.1 version of the software downloaded long time ago.

    Unless you specifically need Quartus II 8.1 for some reason I would download the latest version. The drivers from 8.1 will not work with x64 versions of Windows.

    Yes Kevin, you're right. I did exactly the same. I have downloaded 11.1 version and it is all OK now.
