what is the best way to implement tcp/ip over DE2?

i have de2 altera board and i am trying to iplement tcp/ip protocol (simple server).

I tried to implement it with microC and nichestack and it does not working.

I think de2 cant work with the nichestack because it doesnt support davicom, dm90001A, is that right?

Is there any other way to implement tcp/ip using the de2 board?
