Want to make AS programming on de2 board

I have complete file of vhdl file and that works successfully on my de2 board.

but I want to make AS programming that need .pof filename extension.

i changed that extension my file but it cannot open on software.

plz tell me how to make this.

    These are two different file formats. Changing the extension won't work. See the DE2 documentation for the procedure used to flash a configuration to the board.

    I didn't get you ?

    I have .qpf file extension.

    I already read the de2 user manual. I don't know how to make .pof from .qpf

    If I get .pof then I know how to run with de2 board.

    Plz help me

    Converting an SOF file to a POF is described in the Quartus II documentation. You use "File -> Convert Programming Files".

    But I saw conversation setup file is (.cof).

    What is that

    I don't have this file extension

    I converted sof file to pof

    And I run the program

    It shows "cannot add flash memory programmer object file at the top level"

    What is that
