Honored ContributorWill Quartus 2 version 10.1 work on windows 8.1? We have a new PC to run it on, but we need to maintain compatibility with several other workstations, who share the designs. Anyone out there doing this?

Honored ContributorHonored ContributorIf you can migrate your design to 15.1 that would be good. Can have lesser bug as well. Unless your device is not supported in the latest QII.
Honored ContributorI personally think that maybe you go for 15.0 first... at least when you face anything or issue, you may get some faster patch or those issues had been discovered. I mean if compare with 15.1, those issue maybe new and need more time for root causing.
Honored ContributorThis is just my 20 cent, as i always believe newer software does not mean is the best, as software defects still may be injected into the new version during fixing the older one. to the second newest quartus always my choice,
