Honored ContributorWill Quartus 2 version 10.1 work on windows 8.1? We have a new PC to run it on, but we need to maintain compatibility with several other workstations, who share the designs. Anyone out there doing this?
Honored Contributori understand why some people reluctant to update their quartus, as when it is good enough no point to risk for another version that may come to potential incompatibility issues.
Honored ContributorI only plan to update Quartus when I start working on a new project. Then when the project is started I freeze my Quartus version and only use that one without updating, unless there is a really blocking bug that requires another version of the software.
