Honored ContributorHello. Currently I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I am using Altera Quartus II 9.0. I can installed my usb-blaster successfully but at the Programmer > Hardware Setup, I cannot find the usb-blaster. I dont know why. Driver was installed successfully but I cannot find at Hardware Setup. Please assist. Thank you!

Try this workaround, as your computer is booting hammer on the F8 key, a Windows menu should come up and one of the options is something like "disable driver device signing", then that should boot Windows and the programming cable should be visible. The driver that comes with the 10.0 ACDS doesn't require this extra step. I think you should be able to install the stand alone programmer for 10.0 and use the driver it comes with it if you want to stick with 9.0Honored Contributorhi, thanks for the reply. i have the installer for v10.0 but how to install the standalone programmer for 10.0 only? the installer only has 1 file. i am new in this. so not sure how to do it. thanks
Honored ContributorStarting in 10.0, there is a unified installer. So you should be able to select the stand alone programmer to install and after that's complete choose the appropriate driver. Likewise goes if you install the 10.0 tools.
