Upgrade Web Edition to Subscription - do I have to re-install?

Hi

Simple question. I have QII web edition 13.0 SP1 installed. I want to upgrade to subscription edition. Having paid for my license do I have to install the full tool or can I just point Web Edition at the full license to get the full features?

    Yes, you need to reinstall. The full version can run in with a "Web Edition" license file. (or at least it use to). But the web edition saves space by not installing all the subscription edition devices or features.

    there are no longer license files for Web Edition, so i don't think you can do this
