start options desable from processing menu

Im a beginner in the FPGA world. I did counter example from the de0-nano user manual but, in the point 6.6 when it say that i have to run the "start Analysis & elaboration" i can because all option in "start" are desabled. Can Someone give me a reason why this happens? The project, of course its opened and i did all like in the example. :confused:
