SOPC Builder Add button

When I click a "add" button which should bring up a file or directory selection dialog in SOPC Builder nothing happends.

I would like to add vhdl files to a new component in the "New Component" editor but the the "add" button does not bring up a file section dialog.

I would also like to add a directory to the IP search path, but when I click "add" in Tools -> Options -> Ip Search Path nothing happends.

I am using SOPC builder 8.1 on Windows XP.

Does anyone know what is wrong or how to fix it?

The problem was a non english character in C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>
