Scripting RTL viewer diagram output to file

Hi,

I've been searching in manuals and Forum whether it is possible to script the Quartus RTL Viewer, in order to have some upper level diagrams automatically created from netlist for documentation purposes. Perfect would be an output as encapsulated postscript. But it seems Quartus doesn't provide such functionality. Did I just miss it? Are there other tools that might help?

    i have requested this feature before, as far as i know its not yet supported. i recommend filing a service request for this enhancement

    It would be nice if we could 'edit' the RTL diagrams, at least allowing us to drag the blocks into the proper sequence showing the flow from left to right, as sometimes the RTL-viewer makes a real mess of it.
