Remote Update Error

Hello !

I'm currently working on a remote upgrade solution for an Arria II GX PFGA. I implemented an altremote_update IP and the analysis & synthesis went well. During the fitter, an error occurred:

error: remote update block is operating in remote update mode -- configuration scheme is not active serial programming mode

On the Altera Knowledge Database, I found that a bug in quartus 10.1 causes this error and can be fixed with the 1.113 patch. I applied this patch but it created another error during the fitter (a dll missing: I checked, it was there...).

I decided to install the 11.0 version of quartus and i still have the Remote Update Error.

Does someone have any idea how to fix this problem ??

    Under Device And Pin Options in the Configuration tab, did you set the following:

    Configuration scheme: Active Serial (can use Configuration Device)

    Configuration mode: Remote

    ?
