remote update & parallel flash no longer works in 10.0sp1?

I've got a couple different projects that use a Cyclone-III part and active parallel configuration. These projects use a remote update module to allow for field upgrades.

All was well until I tried to build the design after updating to 10.0sp1. Now my fit fails with the error:

Error: Remote update block is operating in remote update mode -- configuration scheme is not Active Serial programming mode

I've got a support request in to Altera, but no response after a few days.

Any suggestions?

    Received a response on the service request I had filed for this. Turns out that this is a bug in 10.0sp1, presumably it will be fixed in sp2.

    The problem effects Cyclone III and IV-E devices. With 10.0sp1 you can't have a remote update block on a design that uses active parallel configuration mode.

    Not sure if the problem is specific to Linux versions of Quartus or if it also effects the Windows version.

    Altera gave me a patch (thanks) which got be back up and running. I'm sure sp2 will be out shortly to correct this.

    i think the fix is in Quartus II 10.0 SP1 Patch 1.113, you can request it in a service request in the mySupport section of Altera's site

    Hi, now i have the same problem.

    I have to use the Remote Update configuration scheme with Quartus 10Sp1 on a Cyclone III.

    I have request a service request to Altera.

    Now i'am waiting for answer.

    Can i download the patch from the web too? Does the patch work?

    Am experiencing same problem in 10.1..... Does anyone else have this problem?
