Read AS Mode Configuration Flash

Hi, I am wondering if it is possible to read out the content of the configuration flash device with Quartus and ByteBlaster II? I can program and verify the content but I found no way to ...

I can read the AS-Flash with the examine function if the USB Blaster

is connected to the Serial Configuration Device. Is it also possible to read and

write the AS-Flash by using only the JTAG port from the FPGA? Background is,

that I own an evaluation board where I would like to backup the current image and

flash it with a new one. On this evaluation board only the JTAG connector is accessible.
