Questa not opening

The following was shown when Questa Intel FPGA Starter Edition was opened :

Reading pref.tcl

e=unable to initialize OLE2

o=code 1 -level 0-errorstack {INNER { invokeStk1 GUIMAIN}}

while executing

"GUIMAIN"} -errorline 1

errInfo=unable to initialize OLE2 while executing "GUIMAIN"

**Fatal: Exiting VSIM license process

-----------------------------------------------

After showing the above content, the Questa software suddenly closes

NB: I have generated License as well the environment variables are also set.

How to solve this issue?

    May I know which Quartus version you're using? Linux or Window?

      Hi,

      I am using Quartus prime lite edition (in windows ).

      The Questa version is Questa Intel FPGA starter edition 2021.2

      My windows specifications are:

      Edition: windows 10 home single language

      version: 22H2

      Is this error due to any issue with my system?

    Hi,

    I'm able to open Questa Intel FPGA starter edition 2021.2 in Windows 11 22H2 check screenshot attached. Windows 10 22H2 should be no problem. Could you try to reinstall the Questa Tool?

    Also, make sure license path in environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE ..\<License>.dat
