Questa FPGA SE Licensing

Hello forum,

I recently generated a license for the Questa FPGA SE (Questa*-Intel® FPGA Starter Edition SW-QUESTA) for Quartus Prime Lite edition. I am running into issues when attempting to start the Questa simulation software.

What I have done:

- Generated a license using my computer's NIC

- Received the license file (.dat) and have stored it in `C:\licenses\flexlm\... .dat`

- I have set LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable to the license file

- I have set Quartus to utilise the LM_LICENSE_FILE in the `licence setup` menu

Please see attached screenshots.

Issue:

When running Questa, I run into this error.

From the error, I understand that this is a licensing issue, but I am confused where to go from here..

I would appreciate any guidance from the forum. I hope to have informed well.

    Hello,

    Welcome to INTEL forum. To further check, could you provide:

    1) Screenshot of Quartus >>tools>>license setup

    2) Error message screen shot

    3) Machine OS information

    4) Quartus version used

    5) License.dat file
