Questa - Altera FPGA Starter Edition 2025.2 (Quartus Prime Pro 25.1std) license error

Hi when i try to launch questasim i obtain :  The SALT_LICENSE_SERVER variable is set :  and when i run lmutil lmdiag all seems fine :  what could be the problem ? Thanks

    Hi,

    your enviroment variable is SALT_LICENSE_FILE, must be SALT_LICENSE_SERVER

I’ve provided feedback to the documentation team to correct the typo.
Moving forward, users should use SALT_LICENSE_SERVER instead of SALT_LICENSE_FILE.
