Honored ContributorI have 12.1 sp1 Full edition installed. Due to a license issue with ModelSim I went to switch to the free web edition. I get the exact same error when installing 13.0 regardless of the options installed (unchecking quartus help changes the error to modelsim), and sources (ISO, web install, individual file downloads, etc). Furthermore, after install I am unable to add devices. Opening old projects results in a missing device error. The 13.0 install is useless.
I have since reverted to 12.1 sp1 free web edition and don't have any problems. The beta testing team did a bad job. :( Laptop: i7-3740QM, 32GB, W7 64.
