Is it somehow possible to load the quartus TCL packages (which are available e.g. in quartus_sh) when running ModelSim (e.g. vsim) - or vice versa? For example, I'd like to access Quartus project/revision settings (from a QSF) in a ModelSim DO script. It would be convenient to be able to use the ::quartus::project API. Kolja
Honored ContributorI don't know that this has even been done, but you can always give it a try.
I could tell you that you can probably figure out a way to use Tcl itself to establish a connection between the two EXEs, and use that to transfer Tcl commands, but you are better off finding another solution.
