Hi there,

The .jic is stored in flash, and Max 10 use it to config the device~ If you wanna program the device by JTAG,

Could you tell me how u wanna use jic?

Of course I can expand on my use case. I would like on dev kit to power up, to automatically flash the firmware flashed into the QSPI Flash 256 MB (MT25QU02GCBB8E12-0SIT) into the FPGA without user intervention.

At the moment, I am flashing an .sof file with Quartus every time I power up the dev kit, which I would like to avoid doing.
