For example, if the cable always remains as number 1, you can try: quartus_pgm -c 1 Best regards, WZ Re: REFCLK PB on a 10CX105YF672E6G Hi there, May I ask if you could try using this pin as the input to the IOPLL? If it is used as the PLL input, is the lock signal able to assert successfully? So far, I haven't seen this issue on this specific device. Additionally, could you please confirm the I/O standard of the input clock signal? Is it AC-coupled? I can check whether there is a working package available for this ES version of the board that you can use for recovery. Best regards, WZ Re: [USB-Blaster] Detected as "USB-Blaster Variant" on SLES12 – Causing Detection Issues Hi there, If downgrading the kernel resolves the issue, it's likely that there's a conflict between the kernel and jtagd, although I'm not exactly sure what causes it. My suggestion is to try downloading a newer version of the Quartus Programmer to update the JTAG driver. After downloading and installing it, you can reboot the system to apply the new driver. Before using it, you may want to run killall jtagd to stop any existing instances, then go to the newly installed directory and run ./jtagconfig to check if the device is detected correctly. https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/819137/819162?filename=QuartusProProgrammerSetup-24.1.0.115-linux.run Best regards, WZ Re: Max10 chip id No, each chip ID is unique. Re: Corrupted Early Power Estimator (EPE) for Cyclone V (epe_zlib_64bit.dll not found) Hi there, Could u try these step in your pc: Close all Excel processes (including EPE). Go into Windows Explorer (File explorer) Type %TEMP%\EPE_Tool into the address bar Remove everything in this directory. Try opening EPE again. Best regards, WZ Re: [USB-Blaster] Detected as "USB-Blaster Variant" on SLES12 – Causing Detection Issues Hi there, Previously, I have not seen any cases where the system is incompatible with the programmer or JTAG driver. I'm not sure if reinstalling the programmer or trying a newer version might help resolve the issue. Best regards, WZ Re: JTAG Chain error Hi there, Based on what we're seeing, it seems that the flash on the Cyclone V contains an image for the HPS. A simple approach would be to erase the flash and then perform a reboot. Best regards, WZ Re: How to configure Dual Compressed Images on MAX10 without IP core? Hi there, What you are encountering now seems to be a config issue. It looks like the previous problem with sof -> pof conversion has been resolved. Unfortunately, the root cause of the failure is still unclear. So I would like to further confirm the following: Loading the standalone sof file included in the pof works fine, right? In step 6, the CPF mode is set to Internal Configuration. Does the Programmer show any specific error messages? If you reduce the JTAG speed to 6 MHz in the Programmer, does it help to resolve the issue? Best regards, WZ
