Quartus Prime v15.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS - No devices available in New Project Wizard

I've installed Quartus Prime v15.1 using the complete installer, which appears to include device installation. However, no devices are showing up in the New Project Wizard.

I'm almost certain I've run into this issue in the past with other versions of Quartus, but I cannot find any record of how I fixed it.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I figured it out. I had to add executable permissions to nearly all of the files under the <quartus installation>/quartus/common directory.

I think this is common item that some guys are use to window environment where file permission is not always in the picture :D
